Twisted

 If you follow me on twitter, you'd know that I've been in my 90s R&B playlist for a bit. When this video came out, I was too young to even understand what was going on in it. Now I look back and appreciate the premise of a music video/movie. Lol at Keith Sweat's "rolling motion" dance moves. "Kut Close, help me out."

So my birthday is next week. March 29, Aries stand up! I've been scouring the net for the perfect cake and check out some of these cake designs! This one makes me wonder A.) is it okay for me to have a kid just so I can buy her this cake and B.)Why weren't cakes like this when I turned 4? I just got a nice sheet cake from Krogers with Butter cream frosting? Sweet 16 cakes make me jealous. Bat Mitzvah cake...can I have one like right now? Jeez...how much do these things cost? Needless to say, I've passed like 2 hours looking at the Pink Cake Box website. They're friggin Amazing! Too bad they're on the East Coast! Summertime Clothes

I predict bold color jellies or vintage style sandals for the warm weather season of 2010. I know supposedly Jellies were going to be all over last Spring and Summer but we all know that didn't happen. Strictly the gladiators reigned. At this point I'm a little tired of gladiators. I don't know if my Steve Madden Bangles/Boogles will see the warm Cali sunshine this year. Personally for myself, this is going to be a classic all-American vintage summer. Aloha Betty Paige. Paging Eartha Kitt.

Sorry for the hiatus. I'm literally working 50 hours plus school this week. My energy is extremely low. I will post more sooner. I really need to give you guys my fashion predictions for Spring! I can't wait to share! T.G.I.F.

Bambaataa

Marta Mourao Beyonce in Boxing Kitten Wax Prints! Love them! Ever since I was a child, during Black History Month, we'd buy a new form of wax print for me to wear for the Black History Programs at my school. I'd typically dress in my African garb and recite a poem by Maya Angelou, particularly, "Still I Rise". I really want to find some patterns today and finally use the sewing machine I purchased last November but never opened.

Booty Buddy

I'm so ecstatic that I finally own this! No kidding! I slept in the Booty Buddy last night! On top of my nice down comforter! It's soooo comfortable. I got it on sale for only 19.99 at URBN even though online it's still $68. Patience is a virtue that pays comfortably! Viva la Booty Buddy! Currently Listening to:
