Whenever you see fit

Finally finished my painting that I started in January...talk about procrastination mixed with lack of inspiration.


I copped this canvas print from URBN for $10. It reminds me of simpler times when I actually worked there and enjoyed a pleasant discount. *sigh*



However, I always manage to find time to spend money that I shouldn't but I can't help it because the sales are so good!

I got all 12 of the CDs pictured for $6 from the Salvation Army because they were having a 2 CDs for $1 sale. I might venture out for more today because .50 cent CDs are way cheaper than Amoeba(although I love Amoeba dearly!

sidenote: PLEASE don't ask me why I bought the Space Jam soundtrack. It was a total accident. Why would I want to hear Bugs Bunny rap?

Today also marks the 1 year anniversary of the death of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. I'm sure most of you know there is 3 things that you don't mess with me about 1.God 2.My Money 3.Michael Jackson.

I've had a good couple of shouting matches defending all 3. I miss him. I might go out to see his resting place today and celebrate at a few other L.A. events later. Too Soon Michael, Too Soon.

Summer Solstice

Neglecting the blog is so alt. Don't feel bad guys I also neglect my twitter. It's crazy so much stuff is going on right now!

I'm definitely on my Hollywood grind right now, auditions, shoots and shows. I'm so spent. I just want to have a day where I can come home, eat pizza and watch "Everybody Hates Chris."

Enough ranting, the photos above feature me dancing for the psychadelic Spankie Valentine (who is an amazing artist BTW and it's her birthday today! Yay!) We had a pretty successful show in Venice this past week with more to come! I'm so excited to be a part of it all. Hopefully, I'll be able to interview Miss Spankie for MissRiot.com soon!


Oh and here I am outside of Spaceland for the Abandoned Pools show last Tuesday, which I missed but I got to hang out with an old URBN co-hort so it was worth it.

I hear they're playing at the Viper Room on Wednesday...who wants to go?

Adult Swim you know me so well

Adult Swim- (my favorite programming block to watch on TV) has teamed up with Kia to release the project, 8 Singles in 8 Weeks.

I'm stoked because Track 4 is none other than Washed Out with Chairlift lead singer, Caroline Polachek!

Fabric of your life

Can you see this is Rachel True from "The Craft" and "Half and Half"? I don't know what movie this is however.

So I attended First Fridays at the Natural History Museum for the first time in L.A. with my buddy Richard. This month Neon Indian headline the show.

I've heard about First Fridays before, I know they showcased a few big names there earlier this year like Yeasayer (LOVE THEM!)

Anywho, the visit was fun and the show was amazing! I think I might be a scene kid...I'm in too many places way too often.

I also saw "Get Him to the Greek" on Saturday at the Hollywood Arclight...which was $16 for one movie ticket! *Sigh* The movie was hilarious. Diddy/Sean Combs gave a fairly decent comedic performance as well as Russell Brand. Some parts lost my interest a bit, like the sleeping girlfriend character...yawn.

Golden Heart

I was totally bummed with the world earlier. Amongst my personal life tribulations, another Golden Girl, Rue McClanahan died this morning. Miss ya Ruth!

Totally turned my day around after seeing this video. I love Neon Indian and my good friend Richard got me tickets to see him this Friday!

I've had way too much to do to break into this "industry" as of late. That's the main reason why I'm not updating as much as I'd like to but I love you guys none the less...Especially when you show me love!
